Azerbaijani fighters have won a clutch of 11 medals at the European Goju-Ryu Karate Championships in Batumi, Georgia.
Huseyn Isayev (21kg), Ilkin Asgarov (32kg), Choshgun Mirishli (40kg), Mikhail Gitlin (69kg), Emin Asgarzade (63kg), Razi Isayev (80kg), Alika Simikova (54kg) brought home gold medals, while Kamil Karimli at 27kg and Raul Aliyev at 28kg scooped the silver medals. Marat Simikov at 25kg and Sadiq Mikayilli at 37kg won the bronze medals.
