“The first European Games will become another triumph of Azerbaijan,” Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov said at the event held on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and the professional holiday of the ministry’s employees.
K. Heydarov said the Ministry of Emergency Situations has developed Action Plan for 2015:
“The main goals are increasing the professionalism of the staff, ensuring the country`s water safety, reducing the risk of flooding, improving works on oil spill prevention, starting work on clean-up work along Baku Bay, improving the electronic exchange of documents and preparing for the European Games at the highest level,” he added.
K. Heydarov said the ministry will further mobilize and carry out the works set by the government at a higher level.
