“In May, during the resolution of the issue on Armenia`s accession to the European Union, President Nursultan Nazarbayev clearly stated our country’s position in this regard,” Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Amangeldi Jumabayev said Dec. 16 at a press conference in Baku, AzVision.az reports.
He said Kazakhstan’s position is that Armenia can join the European Union within internationally recognized borders: “Nagorno-Karabakh can’t join this organization. This is our position on the `Nagorno-Karabakh` issue,” he said.
