US stocks fall, European and Asian rise
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.65% to 17,068.83, S&P 500 dropped 0.85% to 1,972.74, Nasdaq slipped 1.24% to 4,547.83.

British FTSE 100 rose 2.41% to 6,331.83, France’s CAC 40 went up 2.19% to 4,093.20 and Germany’s DAX surged 2.46% to 9,563.89.

Nikkei 225 increased 0.34% to 16,812.68, Shanghai grew 1.33% to 3,347.26 and Hang Seng descended 0.23% to 22,617.62.

COMEX gold price was $3.10 higher at $1,197.40 an ounce, silver advanced $0.13 to $15.88.
