Ukraine and the
European Union have agreed to finalize the implementation of an action plan for visa liberalization by an Eastern Partnership summit in Riga in May 2015, Ukrainian President
Petro Poroshenko said on Tuesday after a meeting with Federica Mogherini,
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
“We`ve reached an agreement, and I am sure Ukraine will demonstrate its resolute actions to complete the procedure of the implementation of the visa regime liberalization by the Riga summit,” he told a news conference.
The sides, according to Poroshenko, agreed to “put new zest” to the Eastern Partnership initiative.
