Armenia president briefed on situation at Yerevan police station
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held consultation with the representatives of the law enforcement agencies to discuss seizure of the police headquarters in Yerevan, AzVision.az reports citing News.am.
The participants briefed the President on a situation and the actions taken by the police.

It was emphasized that the law enforcement agencies have full control over the situation and take necessary measure to settle the crisis.

According to earlier reports, Colonel Arthur Vanoyan was killed and three other police officers were wounded on Sunday morning after a group of armed people seized the police station. Several officers are taken hostage.
