Iran resumes Turkey flights
An Iranian civil aviation official has announced that Iranian airlines have been permitted to resume flights to and from Turkey as security in the neighboring country has improved.
Reza Jafarzadeh has said that Iranian airlines can carry on Turkey flights given the improved security conditions, there, ISNA news agency reported.

Iran’s decision to resume flights to and from Turkey comes just a day after suspending them following a failed coup attempt in the neighboring Turkey.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic has announced that all border crossings along Iran-Turkey border have been reopened but only Iranian and Turkish nationals, so far, can cross through them

A coup attempt was launched in Turkey late on July 15 by a group of Turkish military servicemen. Later, Turkey’s officials announced that the attempt was foiled.

Earlier Iranian officials announced that Tehran has operated 12 empty flights to Turkey to facilitated returning Iranian passengers stranded there.
