Yildirim made the remarks at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Ankara July 20.
He noted that the format of trilateral cooperation among Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia makes significant contributions to peace and cooperation in the region.
Expressing concern over the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in April 2016, the PM reiterated that Turkey stands for a peaceful resolution of the conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
He stressed that Turkey faced no problems in its bilateral ties with other countries after the thwarted July 15 coup.
Yildirim also said that Ankara advocates a peaceful solution to the Abkhazian and South Ossetian conflicts within Georgia’s territorial integrity.
Turkey supports the membership of Georgia into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and is promoting its entrance bid, the PM added.
Ankara hosted the first meeting of the Turkey-Georgia High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council on July 20.

Ankara wants the second meeting of Turkish, Azerbaijani and Georgian presidents to be held in Azerbaijan in the short run, said Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish Media.
