More than 1,000 government officials in Turkey are on the run after the failed July 15 coup, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek told, AzVision.az reports citing Reuters.
He said that Turkey`s ruling AK Party had for years given a free hand to the religious movement, but indicated that this position had changed.
