Turkish officials banned to accept gifts
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu forbade state officials to accept gifts as of December 18, TRT Haber TV channel reported Dec. 18.
He said that starting from today, officials are prohibited from accepting any gifts from representatives of municipalities and other people during the visits to the provinces.

Davutoglu said that there should be a tradition such as tree planting in Turkey instead of giving gifts.
