Cavusoglu: Turkey informed friendly countries on coup organizers
After the military coup attempt, Turkey informed the fraternal and friendly countries about the coup organizers, TRT quoted Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu as saying July 22.
“In this regard, Azerbaijan has taken the necessary actions,” Cavusoglu said.

He added that the organizations associated with Fethullah Gulen’s movement, which were involved in the military coup attempt in Turkey, were shut down in Somalia.

The FM also said that Turkey expects the similar actions from other friendly countries.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a three-month state of emergency in his country after the July 15 military coup attempt.

On July 15 evening, Turkish authorities said a military coup attempt took place in the country.

Meanwhile, a group of servicemen announced about transition of power to them.
However, the rebelling servicemen started to surrender July 16 and Turkish authorities said the coup attempt failed.

More than 200 people have been killed as a result of the coup attempt.
