He went on to add that the rise in prices of medicines is due to the fluctuations in exchange rate.
Ulikhanyan said the Health Ministry is constantly monitoring the prices of medicines, and to date there haven’t been unjustified, speculative increases in price.
In recent days, the US dollar’s exchange rate surged in Armenia after the currency appreciation in the Russian market, which provoked an unprecedented increase in prices and a stir in the market.
