Minor earthquake jolts southern Iran
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on Richter scale has jolted Hendurabi Island in Hormozgan province, southern Iran, IRNA reported.
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of University of Tehran, the quake took place at 20:04 (GMT+4:30) July 28.

The epicenter of the quake was registered at 53.77 degrees in longitude and 26.74 degrees in latitude.

There were no reports on possible damage or casualties caused by the tremor.
