Istanbul`s Ataturk airport management appeals to passengers
The security measures have been strengthened at Istanbul`s Ataturk airport, the Turkish Hurriyet newspaper wrote July 29.
According to the newspaper, the airlines urge passengers to arrive at the airport for registration three hours before departure time indicated in the ticket.

The Ataturk Airport management also urges citizens to come to the airport by public transport to avoid traffic jams that can occur at the entrance to the airport due to the strengthened security measures, the newspaper wrote.

A terrorist attack occurred at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport June 28 as a result of which 45 people were killed and 239 injured.

Moreover, the Ataturk Airport was seized by the rebels during the military coup attempt in Turkey.
