Ankara recalls its ambassador from Germany
Turkey`s ambassador to Berlin Avni Karslioglu has been recalled home for consultations.
According to TASS, the decision was connected in the incident in Cologne where a rally was staged in support of Turkish leader Erdogan after the recent coup attempt.

The manifestation involved 40,000 people most of whom were Germans of Turkish descent.

During the action the organizers planned to hold a video conference with President Erdogan and sent the due requests to the German authorities. However, a day before the manifestation the Federal Constitutional Court prohibited the activists to organize the video conference.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on reports about recalling the ambassador.
