Two southeastern Turkish provinces to be renamed
A draft law was submitted Tuesday to the Turkish parliament to change the administrative status of two southeastern provinces and two districts.
The draft law proposes to downgrade Hakkari and Sirnak provinces to districts, and rename them Colemerik and Nuh, respectively, the Anadolu Agency reports.

The bill also proposes to award province status to Hakkari`s Yuksekova and Sirnak`s Cizre districts.
