Azerbaijan plans to exempt services export from VAT
Azerbaijan plans to exempt the export of services from the value added tax (VAT), Shamil Arabov, chief of the Head Department for Tax Policy and Strategic Research, told reporters in Baku Aug. 10.
Arabov said a project corresponding to the amendments to the country’s legislation has been prepared to this end.

“The project envisages eliminating the limitations related to collection of VAT from the export of a number of services,” he noted. “Under the proposed amendments, the VAT rate will be 0 percent for all exported services.”
