Tourist flow to Turkey not affected by declaration of state of emergency
The declaration of a state of emergency in Turkey does not restrict the rights of Turkish citizens, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun said on Friday.
The diplomat noted that the tensions that lasted between Russia and Turkey for a while has caused some decrease in the number of tourists visiting the country.

“Nevertheless, the problem between the two countries has been solved already, with flights to both sides restored. Russian tourists have already begun visiting tourism cities of Turkey,” he said.

He added that the declaration of a state of emergency in Turkey has not affected the flow of tourists.

“The situation in Turkey is stable now. The state of emergency was declared in the fight against Fetullah Gulen movement,” he stressed.
