Suspect in murder of Armenian in Moscow detained
The suspect in the brutal murder of an Armenian and a Kyrgyz in Moscow has been detained.
It was found out that this person is Ivan Skorkin, 30, a resident of the Russian capital city, informed the Russian Investigative Committee.

According to the respective statement, Skorkin, who was under the strong influence of alcohol, inflicted numerous stab wounds to two men born in 1947 and 1980, respectively. One of the victims died at the scene, whereas the other—in the ambulance.

The statement also reads that the suspect also caused injury to another man born in 1981. The victim was taken to hospital. According to preliminary data, Ivan Skorkin had stabbed him for his attempt to stop Skorkin’s unlawful actions.

A criminal case has been launched into this incident.

It is currently being determined whether or not arrest shall be enforced as Ivan Skorkin’s restraining order.

A murder took place Friday nearby a Moscow subway station. The attacker inflicted fatal stab wounds to Lyova Kamalyan, 69, from Armenia, and Nurik Munduzov, 36, from Kyrgyzstan. Another person, Aleksandr, 29, was wounded in the arm.

The attack was carried out by drunken skinheads, and on grounds of national intolerance, reported Moskovskiy Komsomolets, a newspaper based in the Russian capital city.
