Azerbaijan called the most tolerant country in the world
`Azerbaijan continues developing in both the sphere of politics and the sphere of economy and social life.`
The first Baku South Caucasus forum became a very important event in terms of raising the image of Azerbaijan in the world, because the forum involved the former presidents and former prime ministers, public and political figures from more than 50 countries of the world.

The statement came from head of the State Committee for the Diaspora Affairs Nazim Ibrahimov.

He said that Azerbaijan continues developing in both the sphere of politics and the sphere of economy and social life, while the wide-scale reforms initiated by the head of state are already producing the effect.

Ibrahimov especially noted that Azerbaijan is the only country where there have never been Antisemitism.

"Azerbaijan has today become the most tolerant country in the world and the people of Azerbaijan can be considered the most tolerant people in the world despite the fact that 20% of their lands are occupied and a million of people turned into refugees and IDPs", he said, adding that today, there are nearly 30,000 Armenians in Baku.
