Azerbaijan was the largest investor in Georgia, according to official figures provided by the Georgian National Statistics Service. Azerbaijan invested a total of 550 million US dollars in Georgia`s economy last year, which accounted for 35 per cent of the total volume of foreign investment made in the country, the service said.
