8 Prime Ministry staff held in Turkey coup bid probe
Eighteen Prime Ministry employees were detained in the capital city on orders of the Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office on Friday as part of a probe into the July 15 defeated coup, Anadolu reported.
The detentions were part of a joint investigation by the Ankara police department, focusing on anti-smuggling and organized crime, and the Ankara Public Prosecutor’s Office, the source told Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking with the media.

Prime Ministry experts are among the suspects, who will be then referred to the court after completing procedures at the police department.
