Tajikistan plans to build hydropower plants

Tajikistan plans to build hydropower plants

Tajikistan plans to build six small hydropower plants this year, Avesta.tj reported on Friday.

The units are planned to be built with the use of foreign and domestic investments.

The power plants` capacity will range from 300 kilowatt per hour to 1 megawatt per hour.

German government will allocate an investment in the amount of 5 million Euros.

To date, there are 305 small hydropower plants operating the country.
