Prime Minister of Georgia to pay official visit to Baku
In the coming days, Prime Minister of Georgia will pay an official visit to Baku,” was noted during the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, AzVision.az reports citing Georgian Media.
Within the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of strategic cooperation between the two countries.

According to the press service of the Georgian government administration, the political, cultural, economic and trade relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan and prospects for deepening cooperation in the energy sector were discussed at the meeting.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Eldar Mammadyarov spoke about energy projects of regional importance that were jointly implemented by Georgia and Azerbaijan and stressed their importance in terms of economic development and energy security.

“The positive dynamics of tourism in Georgia, including growth in the number of Azerbaijani visitors was touched at the meeting. Regional security issues were discussed by the sides", said the Georgian government administration.
