Turkish energy minister, Gazprom head mull Turkish Stream
Chairman of the Management Committee of Russia’s Gazprom PJSC and Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak discussed the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project and the arbitration process on Russian gas supplies to Turkey during a one-on-one meeting in Istanbul, RIA Novosti reported Aug. 31 citing the Turkish ministry’s spokesman Mehmet Ali Berber.
Negotiations of Turkey’s Petroleum Pipeline Corporation BOTAS with Gazprom delegation headed by Alexey Miller are being held in Istanbul, said the spokesman.

“Prior to that, the head of Gazprom had a one-on-one meeting with our minister,” he noted. “The Turkish Stream gas pipeline project and the arbitration process on discount for gas, as well as regional energy issues are being discussed.”
