Georgian and Russian aviation authorities reach no agreement
The technical consultations between the representatives of the aviation authorities of Georgia and Russia were held in Tbilisi on December 24-25.
The representatives of the Georgian foreign ministry and the embassy of the Swiss Confederation in Georgia attended the meeting, the Georgian foreign ministry told.

The issues related to the regular flights between the two countries were considered during the technical consultations.

A decision was made to continue consultations in early 2015 proceeding from the fact that the sides have not reached an agreement regarding the requirements voiced by the Georgian side.

Before the final agreement is reached, on an equal basis the Georgian and Russian airlines were entitled to make regular flights 18/18 per week till January 31, 2015. The airlines have already sold tickets for these flights.
