Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: Armenian reports yesterday, today on front line tension contradict each other
Reports the Armenian side released yesterday and today about the latest happenings on the front line are in sharp contradiction with each other, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told
The ministry said the Armenian side disseminated disinformation yesterday that sabotage groups of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were allegedly prevented from crossing the territory under their control.

“The statement released today says that they neutralized mines laid by Azerbaijani sabotage groups passing behind the Armenian positions. These are contradictory information. One says that they prevented sabotage groups of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces from crossing, the other says these groups laid mines behind the Armenian positions. First of all, the Armenian side is trying to hide the truth disseminating such information. They are trying to cover up their failed military operations and losses,” the ministry noted.

The ministry said thanks to the vigilance of our servicemen and early detection, the Armenian sabotage group attempting to attack on frontal positions of our army is believed to have hit a landmine when they retreated.

“The Armenians will probably try to hide these losses from their own people again,” he added.
