Azerbaijani judoka Bayram Mustafayev (66 kg) has won silver medal in the 15th Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Bayram Mustafayev was defeated by Utkirjon Nigmatov of Uzbekistan in the finals.

Azerbaijani judoka Bayram Mustafayev (66 kg) has advanced to finals in the 15th Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

He defeated Fujimoto Satoshi of Japan in the semifinals.

Mustafayev will face Utkirjon Nigmatov of Uzbekistan in the finals.

In the Summer Paralympics, which will last until Sept. 18, Azerbaijan is represented by 24 athletes in judo, athletics, powerlifting, swimming, shooting and archery.

There are six women among the Azerbaijani Paralympians.

Azerbaijani Paralympians have 41 licenses, which is more compared to London 2012 Paralympics.

Azerbaijani Paralympians have won 161 medals (64 gold, 57 silver and 40 bronze) over the last four years.
