After losing to John Oliver for outstanding variety talk series, Matt Damon, or as Kimmel calls him, Jason Boring, came to rank on the late night host.
"You must be really bummed out," Damon said to Kimmel, who admitted being "a little disappointed."
"So, you`re not going to get a trophy?" the actor asked in-between taking bites of an apple. "No, I don`t get a trophy, then," Kimmel said. "Are you finished? You done?"
Yikes, it doesn`t look like counseling worked out for these guys.
When Kimmel revealed Oliver won the Emmy, Damon couldn`t control his emotions."Yes, yes, yes," he exclaimed in front of a cheering audience. "They know. I knew. I had him in my pool."
When Kimmel asked if he could continue with the show, Damon apologized for his rudeness.
"This is so humiliating. I`m sorry," the blackjack game crasher said. "I mean you lost and now you gotta stand out here for the rest of the night in front of everybody... when you probably just want to go home and curl up and cry. Hey can we cheer Jimmy up? He`s a big loser. Big round of applause."
Before leaving Damon gave Kimmel a big hug and said he would see him at the after party. "There`s an after party?" Kimmel questioned.
"Never mind," Damon said, adding one last burn before his exit.
