The Armenian Government deals with organ trade

Arthur Kazarian, Armenian soldier died in the military unit 38401 in Hadrut province (Armenian occupied Khojavend) on Dec.16 in 2010. He was taken to the Yerevan General Military Hospital after his death. His mother, Irina Kazarian was told that his son died of brain tumor.

Then it became clear that dead bodies of 8 soldiers had been taken to the hospital.

Sedrak Kazarian, inspector who investigated the death case of Kazarian decided to close the case in 2011 claiming it was non-criminal.

`Shota Vardanyan, forensic medical examiner who performed autopsy on Kazarian`s dead body had not detected any tumor in his brain. However, he detected tool marks on the back side of Kazarian`s neck. Clearly, tool marks allowed saying that he was beaten to death with a dull tool`, Irina Kazarian told, Azvsion. az reports citing Virtualaz.org .

`I have appealed to the President of the Republic of Armenia and Prosecutor General of the RA, as well as the head of the Investigative Committee of the RA to investigate the case again after learning the exact details of my son`s death. However, none of them have responded to my appeals up to now`, Kazarian`s mother said.

Majority of Armenians still remember 9 soldiers who were killed in Hadrut. However, the Ministry of Defense of the RA denies the fact.

` All news articles and materials on the death of the soldiers were removed from the Media. However, I was able to copy some of those materials and save them to a disc. Those materials include notes and speeches of several MPs and public figures on the event. Last year, Seyran Ohanyan, the former Defense Minister of the RA received me. Ohanyan denied the issue saying that those MPs and public figures had just mixed up...`

`...Forensic medical examiner told me that he found marks of violence on my son`s body. My son`s fingers were broken. Above all, some of his internal organs were removed`, she added.
