Azerbaijan ranks 55th for share of gold in currency reserves
The World Gold Council has released October ranking of countries for share of gold in currency reserves.
Azerbaijan ranked 55th in the ranking holding 18.1% share in gold (30,200 tonnes) of the currency reserves.

US heads the ranking with 8,135.5 tonnes of gold reserves. Germany ranks the 2nd with 3,378.2 tonnes of gold.

Russia has 1,526.1 tonnes (rank -7), Kazakhstan - 244 tonnes (rank - 21), Belarus – 40.5 tonnes (rank – 48th).
