Nazarbayev holds first working meetings after illness
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev , who has recently been under the treatment due to a cold-related disease, held working meetings with the country’s Attorney General Zhakip Asanov and Mayor of Astana city Asset Issekeshev, the press service of the Kazakh president reported.
These are the first working meetings by Nazarbayev following the news of his illness.

On Oct. 11 Kazakh president’s press secretary noted that Nazarbayev is being treated for cold. Later Nazarbayev’s Press Secretary Aidos Ukibay said Nursultan Nazarbayev would not be able to visit Azerbaijan and Armenia October 12-14 due to a cold-related disease and his participation in international events is not planned until the end of this week.
