He was reportedly being stabbed during an argument with strangers at the city’s Shirakatsi and Marmarashen intersection, AzVision.az reports citing News.am.
The website’s sources did not disclose the name of the soldier, saying only that he is a citizen of Russia. Police “are taking all necessary measures” to identify and locate the alleged suspects, they added.
