Indian air force helicopter crashes during drills near Indo-China border
Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter MI-17 V5 crashed on Wednesday while carrying out a mission from a helipad North of Badrinath after take-off.
The helicopter was carrying 15 people; some of them received minor injuries.

“All crew members and passengers are reported safe. No civilian casualty or damage to civilian property reported,” IAF official said. The incident took place when Indian Air Force and Army were practicing Inter Valley Movement at Ghastoli helipad between Badrinath and Mana Pass near the Chinese border. The drill was part of army and air force exercise.
