Azerbaijan, Turkey seek to deepen military cooperation
The Defence Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey Safar Abiyev and Ismet Yilmaz have signed a declaration on intentions by results of talks in Ankara.
During the one-on-one and then the expanded meetings, the parties discussed the further development of the Azerbaijan-Turkish cooperation in defence.

According to the news service for the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan. Abiyev also held one-on-one meetings with head of the Turkish Joint Staff Nejdet Ozel and commander of the Land forces Hayri Kivrikoglu. The negotiations of the Azerbaijani delegations with the companies dealing with the defence industry of Turkey are also planned.

As part of the visit to Turkey, the delegation of the Defence Ministry visited the memorial to the founder of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The agenda of the visit envisages the visit to the park named after Heydar Aliyev and laying a wreath to the monument of the National Leader of Azerbaijan.
