President Erdogan: Turkey in solidarity with France
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called his French counterpart Francois Hollande late Friday to express Turkey`s solidarity with France, Anadolu agency reported.
The Turkish president also offered his condolences to the victims’ families. Both presidents agreed to collaborate on anti-terrorism efforts.

On Wednesday, three masked gunmen attacked the offices of French magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 people. Footage showing the attackers shooting a policeman outside the magazine`s offices sent shock waves across the world.

Hollande told Erdogan that France knows "Turkey is standing with us." The French president also said that terrorists aim to harm his country`s "social peace" by creating confusion over Islam, but that the people of France will not be deceived by their goals.
