Of this, 3.149 bcm was imported through pipelines, 477 million cubic meters through LNG.
Turkey imported most of gas from Russia. It exported 1.988 bcm of gas in August. Iran exported 632 million cubic meters, Azerbaijan – 529 million cubic meters (14.58% of total gas import of Turkey).

Turkey imported 3,627 billion cubic meters of gas in August 2016, down 3.1% from previous year, AzVision.az reports citing to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey.
