Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry to issue bonds worth 22M manats
An auction for placement of short-term bonds worth 22 million manats (1.6381 AZN/USD on Oct. 29) of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance will be held at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) Nov. 1, the BSE said.
Some 220,000 bonds at a par value of 100 manats each and maturity period of 91 days will be put up for the auction.

The maturity date of the bonds is Nov. 31, 2017.

PASHA Capital investment company is the underwriter of the issuance.

Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Securities registered two issue prospectuses of state short-term and medium-term bonds of the Finance Ministry in the total amount of 400 million manats, as well as two state bonds issue prospectuses in the amount of $500 million in late January.

The Finance Ministry said that the bonds will be placed throughout the year.
