Acrobatic gymnastics championship kicks off in Baku
The 23rd Baku Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics, as well as the 14th Azerbaijan and Baku Championship among Age Categories in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling kicked off in Baku Nov. 7.
Women’s Pairs (children born in 2000-2007), Men’s Pairs (seniors born in 2002 and older), Mixed Pairs (seniors born in 2002 and older, children born in 2000-2007, youngsters born in 2002-2010) and Women’s Groups (pre-juniors born in 1998-2006, children born in 2000-2007, youngsters born in 2002-2010) started competing for the medals on the first day of the competition, which is held in the auxiliary hall of Azerbaijan’s Gymnastics Federation.

Over 50 gymnasts are taking part in the event, including those from The Baku Gymnastics School, the Ojag Sport and Neftchi clubs, as well as the Nizami District Sports School of Olympic Reserves №13 will be presented.
