Iranian nuclear delegation team, headed by foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Geneva, Switzerland on Jan. 14 to take part in a fresh round of negotiations with P5+1 over the country`s nuclear program.
Zarif is scheduled to meet with the US Secretary of State John Kerry at 11:30 local time (GMT +1:00 hours), Iran’s Fars news agency reported.

The 12th round of negotiations with P5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) is scheduled for Jan. 18 in Geneva. The negotiations will be held at the deputy foreign ministers level.

The Iranian and American delegations will continue their bilateral negotiations till Jan. 17.

Iran will also hold bilateral meetings with other members of the P5+1.

Talks between Iran and the P5+1 group have been extended until July 1, 2015 to reach a comprehensive nuclear agreement.

After the sides failed to meet the 24 Nov. 2014 deadline they also extended the Geneva nuclear deal, which was signed in November 2013 for providing Iran with some sanctions relief in exchange for Tehran agreeing to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities.
