Four mortar shells fell near the Russian embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus, RIA Novosti said Monday. No damage or injury to diplomatic staff was reported.
The attack took place at 12:55pm (10:55 GMT) and was directed from the Jobar suburb on the eastern outskirts of Damascus.
