Ukrainian embassy in Baku opens Memory Book on killing of civilians in Donetsk
The Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan has opened a Memory Book on the killing of 12 civilians as a result fire opened by separatists in Donetsk region.
January 15 has been declared a day of mourning in Ukraine, the embassy told.

“On January 13, the militants of “Donetsk People`s Republic” terrorist group fired on the block-post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Volnovakha town from a Grad rocket, violating the agreement on ceasefire. During the bombardment, which was conducted from Dokuchaevsk village, one of the shells exploded a few meters from the bus with civilians who moved along the route Donetsk-Mariupol, killing 12 people and 16 injured,” the embassy noted.

The embassy also said the Ukrainian law enforcement officials called incident terror attack against the civilians, and a criminal case was launched.

According to the latest reports, death toll reached to 13.
