Azerbaijan invited to G20 summit to be held in Turkey
Azerbaijan has invited the G20 summit to be held in Turkey.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a press conference after the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“Turkey will host the G20 summit this year. Taking the opportunity, we have invited Azerbaijan to the summit,” Erdogan said.

He said the trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan accounts to $5 billion, and this figure will reach $25 billion by 2023.

Erdogan said he invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the event to be held on April 24 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Çanakkale War (Gallipoli Campaign).
