President Ilham Aliyev: “It is a very wise step to choose this date”
Azerbaijani and Turkish Presidents will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the victory in Canakkale Battle on April 24.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made remarks at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyib Erdogan in Ankara.
The Azerbaijani president said the event will be held on April 24 and expressed his gratitude to Erdogan for choosing this date.
“I am very grateful to you for choosing this date, it is a very wise step,” he said.
