US Olympians allegedly implicated in cocaine-induced weight loss, email leak claims
Alleged emails of World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) employees leaked by the hacker group Fancy Bears indicate that WADA had been tipped off about a group of American athletes who allegedly used cocaine for losing weight ahead of competitions, with the knowledge of a coach, the Guardian reports.
An internal email indicated that the drug was not banned by the organization.

Fancy Bears previously hacked the leading world anti-doping organization with the apparent goal of exposing the controversial system of so-called medical exceptions – a practice of athletes taking otherwise-banned powerful drugs for reasons deemed medical by the regulator.
