Lukashenko vows to warmheartedly organize Second European Games in Belarus
The Second European Games in Belarus will try to be as good as those in Azerbaijan as far as warm heartedness is concerned. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he met with reporters during his visit to Azerbaijan on 28 November, BelTA has learned.
The head of state noted that the First European Games in Azerbaijan had set a very fine example. “Certainly, we will not be able to surpass this standard, yet we will try to be as good as Azerbaijan as far as the feeling of warm heartedness is concerned during the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony, and for the duration of the Games,” stated Alexander Lukashenko.

The President added that Belarus will be interested in learning Azerbaijan`s experience of organizing the European Games. “We would like to borrow your precious experience in order to properly host these games,” said Alexander Lukashenko. “We are also ready to borrow your experience in other avenues of concrete cooperation in sport.”
