The British company Summit Trade Events is a co-organizer of the event.
The conference will bring together about 160 delegates from the world’s 38 countries.
A discussion devoted to the financing of large infrastructure and oil and gas projects, including the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline, will be held as part of the event.
The conference will feature such companies as BOTAS, BP, Buried Hill Energy, CNPC, Dow Oil, Gas & Mining, Dragon Oil, Galkynysh Pipeline Company, LG International, Samsung C&T, Shell, SOCAR and others.

A two-day international conference "Oil and Gas Turkmenistan 2016", organized with assistance of the country’s state concern Turkmenneft, has kicked off in Ashgabat Dec. 7, a source close to the event’s organization told Trend.
