Iran, Azerbaijan see great potential to further ties, says MP

There is a great potential for further development of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, Iranian MP, member of the parliamentary commission on security and foreign policy, told on Friday.

“I believe Iran-Azerbaijan ties will develop further without regional differences and the negative influences of other countries,” the MP said.

The MP said he knows Iran’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan and had a meeting with him before the start of his diplomatic mission. “I know that the new ambassador has good programs aimed at further development of ties between the two countries,” he added.
