Azerbaijani defense minister receives French ambassador

Azerbaijani defense minister receives French ambassador

Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has received French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier.

Touching upon the military and political situation in the region, the defense minister said Armenia continues its aggressive policy which protracts peace negotiations and negatively affect the situation in the region.

The ambassador, in his turn, expresses satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France.

The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in military and military-technical spheres, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
