Azerbaijan, Poland agree on supply of oil, LPG, LNG
SOCAR Trading SA, the marketing arm of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, and the Polish company Lotos Oil have reached agreements to transport oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), Azerbaijani Embassy in Poland said in a message Dec. 22.
The agreements were reached during the bilateral business meetings that took place in Warsaw as part of the 7th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Poland Intergovernmental Commission.

SOCAR Trading SA and Lotos Oil have agreed on the supply of crude to Poland, as well as supply of LPG and LNG products to the marine terminal in Gdansk, reads the embassy’s message.

Headquartered in Geneva, SOCAR Trading was incorporated in December 2007 as the marketing arm of SOCAR with a mandate to market Azerbaijani barrels produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field and other surrounding fields in Azerbaijan.

SOCAR Trading’s activities cover the US, and countries in Europe and Asia.
